Billings Farm 

The Billings Farm & Museum is a living museum of Vermont's rural past, as well as a working dairy farm. The farm dates back to 1871, when owner Frederick Billings, a lawyer, railroad entrepreneur, and philanthropist began importing cows from the Isle of Jersey. His farm prospered, and today, is still a working dairy farm, which operates with this nationally renowned farm life museum. 

 

Vermont Institute of Natural Science Raptor Center- VINS

The center, located within Woodstock is New England's leading raptor care and education facility, giving visitors insight into over twenty species of birds of prey. Open every day from 10:00am to 5:30pm. Telephone: 802-280-2223 

 

Simon Pearce Store & Restaurant

Did you know the first Simone Pearce glassblowing shop was in Kilkenny, Ireland in 1971? In nearby Quechee, you can watch glass blowing exhibits, shop, or dine over the river in the restaurant operated by the world-famous producer of fine and artistic glass. 

 

Hood Museum of Art 

The Hood Museum of Art is a teaching museum. Their mission is to create an ideal learning environment that fosters transformative encounters with works of art. Enjoy one of America's oldest museums located at Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire. Offering over 65,000 works of art and artifacts with special art exhibits and lectures throughout the year. 

 

Silver Lake 

The Silver Lake State Park encompasses the northern shoreline of eight-four acres Silver Lake which supports excellent fishing of northern pike, perk, smallmouth bass and other warm-water species. The lake is popular for paddling and quieter recreation, with only occasional motorboats passing by. During the winter months, when the park is closed, the lake is a popular spot for ice skating and ice fishing. 

 

Dartmouth College

Green Mountain Horse Association - GMHA 

Founded in 1926, GMHA is the nation's oldest continuously operating horse association. They're sixty-five acre facility includes stabling for a hundred and ninety-six horses, four all-weather arenas with European Geo-Textile footing, a spectacular cross-country course, and driving hazards. GMHA is a unique equestrian experience for riders and drivers of all ages and abilities.
